LAFCO glass candles repurposed as a favorite beverage

October 20, 2015

LAFCO candles, a variety of great scents, made with soy, clean burning, 90 hours of burn time, all natural wick and a sleek hand blown glass or "vessel" as described by the LAFCO company.  A great candle we burn almost daily at Elizabeth Richard!  But when the party is over for a candle, it's tossed in the garbage and that is that.  Not so fast....  That hand blown glass container can be reused, repurposed and enjoyed for some time.  The trick is to put the candle, at the end of it's life, in the freezer.  The cold will make the wax pop out and with a little soap and water the glass"vessel' will come clean.  We have used these LAFCO glasses as pencil holders, change depositories, but the most creative, a glass for margaritas.  Cheers!
